parallel worlds

A team of scientists led by David Deutsch in Oxford have made a discovery in mathematics. The parallel worlds really exist.

The theory of such worlds has appeared even in 1950 in the USA (the author - Hugh Everett) and has explained the secrets of quantum mechanics caused disputes among scientists. In Everett’s "multiworld" Universe each new event is possible and causes division of the Universe. The number of possible alternative outcomes equal to number of the worlds.

For example, the car driver sees the pedestrian who has jumped out on the road. In one reality he, avoiding collision, perishes, in another he gets in hospital and remains alive, in the third the pedestrian perishes. Number of alternative scripts is infinite.

The theory has been recognized fantastic and has been forgotten. But unexpectedly in Oxford during mathematical research it has been found out that Everett was on the true way.

Further the essence of this discovery is described, but I shall not go deep – everything is so complex there!

Thinking about our life

What most of all people worry about? Health, the salary, there are even some people who watche races. I do not understand these people. What does it signify who is the fastest, who has scored a goal or has won something else?

I worry most of all how my children and grandsons will live. Already now those who live in a city don’t know how the deer or an eagle looks. It is good still that they see fish, the truth only fried.

Very few people from them will feel how this fish resists when it is pulled out from water.

It seems that it’s a shark... but it turns out it’s just a small fish.

It is a pity to me - what we will hand down to our children?

I want, I want, I want...

I wish to win one million, and even better - two million euro. I wish not to jump in the mornings, and to wake up when I will have a good sleep.

I don’t want to rush for work, but to fly somewhere to exotic countries, for example to China or to Dubai and to see everything, that only it is possible to see!

I want, I want, I want - what is bad in this?!

Who does not want, that has already died :)

Let each of us will have luck and once all our dreams will come true!

So the New Year has come. All Christmas gifts are already almost forgotten. It’s sad. I was waiting for this Christmas and unfortunately it has passed much worse, than former. But that’s OK - it’s not an occasion for despondency.

May be in the New Year finally I’ll buy a new car. I do not see anything bad that Land Rover will be bought by the company from India. Certainly, if it has been bought for example by Toyota it would be much better. But I think that Land Rover’s traditions will remain. If everything will be Ok - I will buy to myself a small car of this firm. Of course I’ll not be able to buy a big and massive one yet. But anyway, I’ll be happy if I’ll purchase that I want!

Winter Bears

The bear runs into hibernation only if it has developed during the autumn enough fat. And nothing will happen if it will wake up in the winter – it will turn on the other side and will sleep further.

And if the autumn is hungry, it can’t develop fat – that’s a trouble, the bear can not lay down to sleep and all the winter long it will search for livelihood. Such insomniac bears - are very dangerous for people - famine forces them to forget about caution.

Today I have a lot of free time here on my work. And I decided to read something from Jonathan Swift’s statements.

I liked these most of all.

Nobody takes advices, but everybody take money. Therefore money is better than advices.

A tavern is a place where madness is sold by the bottle.

I don’t watch movies in the cinema...

I don’t watch movies in the cinema for the same reason! I don’t understand – people go there to watch a film… why they necessarily accompany that process with eating up pop-corn, chips and so on???? Stink, garbage, crackle… I’ll better watch it at home!

Stars also have problems: photographer-paparazzi has sued upon movie star Keanu Reeves contending that the actor in March, 2007 has brought him down on a parking place in suburb of Los Angeles.

On March, 19 Keanu Reeves, driving his Porsche 911, leaving from parking place in suburb of Los Angeles has brought down a photographer-paparazzi. Then it was informed, that the photographer with insignificant traumas has been delivered in hospital, whence, after rendering assistance, in some hours has gone home.

Reeves’ press-agent then has declared that the photographer has appeared before a movie star’s car during that moment when the actor was leaving the parking place. Reeves, according to his press-agent, has done the utmost to avoid collision, having lowered as much as possible speed of his car and having tried to go round the photographer. Thus Reeves’ representative has accused the photographer of simulation, having emphasized, that he could not receive serious traumas, considering speed of the movie star’s car.

I talked about this with Daphne and Marina. And we have come to such conclusion – we have to live more simple. The happiness is in our children and in love, but not in the popularity!
